Electrochemical harvesting of microalgae꞉ Parametric and cost-effectivity comparative investigation

چکیده
The cost of microalgae harvesting constitutes a heavy burden on the commercialization biofuel production. present study addressed this problem through economic and parametric comparison electrochemical using sacrificial electrode (aluminum) nonsacrificial (graphite). efficiency, power consumption, operation were collected as objective variables function applied current initial pH solution. results indicated that high efficiency obtained by aluminum anode is achieved in short electrolysis time. That can be enhanced increasing or time for both materials, where 98% obtained. also demonstrated consumption with graphite higher than aluminum. However, at 0.2 A local (0.036 US$/m3) distinctly lower (0.08 US$/m3). Furthermore, reached its value an 6 aluminum, 4 graphite. Consequently, process could reduced acid- nature conditions to around 0.46 kWh/kg 1.12
